Did you know human! Caine has puppets other than Bubble? He makes them himself, you know! They’re totally not inspired by people he knows in real life, err… any resemblance is purely coincidental..!
In this AU, Caine has autism and a hard time making friends, so making stories about them and designing characters inspired by his cast-mates is how he tries to connect with others. Unfortunately, others don’t really understand or appreciate this about him.
I thought this idea really closely paralleled what actually happens in the show. Plus, I thought it was cool to incorporate how their digital bodies represent who they are as people- in this case, how Caine sees them.
But basically, his special interest is puppeteering and theatrics, and probably old timey movies and circus themes too :3
